Developing Your Voice With Peter
When it comes to tuition, you have several choices:
Individual Lessons
Peter teaches either at the Wendy Whatling School of Dance, near Seven Dials, or his home in the Preston Park area. Lessons are usually an hour long, featuring vocal warm up exercises, voice development and most lessons usually end with a song. Peter's teaching methods concentrate on allowing students to develop the skills and techniques they need to support their voice and feel confident when singing. All musical genres are catered for, with a particular emphasis on Pop, Rock, Soul etc.
Evening Classes
Every year Peter runs a variety of Evening Classes, currently held at The Wendy Whatling School of Dance, Brighton. The classes usually have a group of about 15 students participating, and cover all the aspects of vocal tuition included in individual lessons. The additional feature of the evening classes is the chance to participate in group singing, and to work on several group songs. These group songs, plus students' individual pieces, are showcased in a Performance Night at the end of the course. In the picture you can see students at an evening class taking part in a singing exercise known as a "soundbath" - a truly unique experience!

French Singing Holiday
Finally, another option for learning to sing with Peter is the annual French Singing Holiday. This one week intensive singing workshop focuses on vocal technique, the art of performance, and picking up some pidgin French! The location for the workshop will be in the south of France - contact Peter for more details about future workshops.
